Sing something. Or take a seat with a drink and watch someone braver than you sing something. Both are a fine way to spend a Wednesday, and there is a cocktail waiting either way. Come early, take a table, and settle in before the room fills.
This is not a stage in a sports bar. It is a candlelit 1920s room behind a bookcase, with brass, worn leather, and a bar built on the classics. The songbook just happens to be open.

Our bar is built on the canon. Prohibition era recipes made with modern technique, whiskey forward, across sixteen taps. The Old Fashioned is the house staple and still the drink we judge ourselves by: bourbon or rye, sugar, bitters, an expressed orange peel, and nothing to hide behind.

The Library is 21 and over, so bring identification. Cocktail attire: dress for the room. Seatings run every half hour, and your phone number becomes your library card number when you reserve. For parties larger than four, email us and we will sort it out.
